Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a procedure performed when the pulp tissue inside a tooth becomes inflamed or infected. The goal of this treatment is to preserve the health of the tooth and relieve pain. During the procedure, the infected pulp tissue is removed, the interior of the tooth is cleaned, and then filled to restore the tooth’s function.

Treatment Process:
Root canal treatment is typically carried out in several stages:

  1. Assessment: The dentist obtains information about the tooth’s condition using X-rays and creates a treatment plan.
  2. Pain Management: Local anesthesia ensures that no pain is felt during the procedure.
  3. Pulp Removal: The infected pulp tissue is carefully extracted.
  4. Cleaning: The inside of the tooth is cleaned to eliminate any infection risk.
  5. Filling: The canal is filled with an appropriate material, and the tooth is reinforced.
  6. Restoration: If necessary, a crown or filling may be placed over the tooth.
