Treatment Process:
Root canal treatment is typically carried out in several stages:
- Assessment: The dentist obtains information about the tooth’s condition using X-rays and creates a treatment plan.
- Pain Management: Local anesthesia ensures that no pain is felt during the procedure.
- Pulp Removal: The infected pulp tissue is carefully extracted.
- Cleaning: The inside of the tooth is cleaned to eliminate any infection risk.
- Filling: The canal is filled with an appropriate material, and the tooth is reinforced.
- Restoration: If necessary, a crown or filling may be placed over the tooth.
